Oct / Nov / Dec Newsletter

News just in for the Month of October / November / December:

First of all on behalf of the Sport For Youth Soccer Project we would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year . We really appreciate the support you have shown us throughout this year, without you we wouldn’t be able to keep doing what we are doing.

  1. Kouga Regional League. Our Kouga Regional league season has kicked off with two games played , having won one and lost one. We will push to win the league when it starts back up in January. Log Standing
  2. Kouga Premier League. Our Kouga Premier League team, boys aged between 15-18, are doing well in the new Senior League they are competing in. Definitely a tougher challenge than the league they got promoted from last year. Log Standing
  3. Life Skills and Environmental Awareness programs. We kicked off both these programs towards the end of this year with help from local volunteers. The project is now active and running smoothly but we are constantly looking for ways to improve. We have also been working with the Kouga Environmental Trust with their beach and trail clean-ups.
  4. Fundraiser. Thanks to Story Slam at the Brewery for supporting us this year every month with the proceeds from the night . We really appreciate it.
  5. Christmas Raffle. Thanks to St Francis College Market for hosting us – it was a merry good time!

We had our first volunteer János from Germany for the month of November – Thank you!

Next Years Goals

We have teamed up with a local partner to start our Field of Dreams Skills and Sports Development facility. We really look forward to this and will share more info soon.
