Kouga Regional League Team :

Our 1st team finished the season 2nd place behind the winners Jbay Stars FC in the top league in the Kouga Region . It was a tough season but the boys played really well and only fell short by 2 points. We took a lot of positives and learnt a lot during the season , hopefully next season we can win the league and go to playoffs.. Please find log standings below/ right :

Kouga Mayors Cup

We took part in the annual Kouga Mayors Cup tournament, which consists of all the teams in Kouga. It took place over 3 weekends with the final day being held in Jeffereys bay . Our team managed to finish in 3rd place with medals and prizes being handled over by the Mayor on the day .

Kouga Premier League

Our youngsters or 2nd team as we call it , have had a good season competing in the premier league. It’s a senior league so we took it as a learning experience where there was no real pressure to finish in any position, just to stay in the league and use it as our development structure for our 1st team . One or two of the boys have really worked hard , shown a lot of improvement and will be joining our 1st team for next season. 5 games to go and they will be finished .  Log standings below/ right:

St Francis Rotary and Billy’s beach Kit hand over

We successfully helped  the St Francis Rotary Club organize two football kits , bibs , and balls for the 8 different soccer teams in Sea Vista . Thanks to Billy’s Beach for the funding , all the teams were very happy and appreciated the support.

Environmental Awareness Program

Lyn Phillips is putting a lot of effort into this program for our boys . This month we took part in the Kromme – Enviro Trust beach clean up . We marked a spot on the Wildside which will be ours to keep clean and teach the kids about .

U/13 & U/15

With our older teams season coming to an end , our focus now turns to the younger boys where they will keep training and playing friendly matches and tournaments . Unfortunately there is no development league in the Kouga region otherwise these boys would also be competing.

Fundraiser

We had our first fundraiser party at the resort on the Saturday 4th May , we had a good turnout ,everyone had lots of fun and we look forward to the next one.

Market Stall

After abit of a wait for our gazebo , we will be at the next market on Saturday 25 th May . See you there
