Kouga Regional League Team
Pre-Season Starts
Our Kouga Regional league team have started training for the league which starts in the first week of October. We recently competed in a pre-season tournament in Plettenberg Bay where we managed to make the quater- finals ( Top 8 ) out of a total of 35 teams. Our boys played well and I am happy with our progress heading into the season . Our goal this season is to win the league and be crowned the best team in Kouga.

U/15 Score Youth Tournament
We hosted a successful tournament for the juniors here in Sea Vista, the tournament was sponsored by Score Immune Booster and we had 3 local teams , a team from Humansdorp, a team from Hankey and a team from Port Elizabeth who came to compete . Black Vultures from Humansdorp ended up beating us ( St Francis Bay United) 2-1 in the final to take home the Trophy and gold medals.

U/11 Juniors
I’ve been very impressed with the commitment and improvement of our U/11 juniors . We currently have about 20 boys in this group aged between 7-11 years old . They are also consistently at training and are willing and keen to learn. The improvement of soccer skills over the past 3 months have been great to see . Well done to their 19 year old coach Asenathi Nobavu who also works at Barry’s Bakery as a Baker .

Mandela Day
Honouring Mandela Day, St. Francis Bay United coaches dedicated their 67 minutes to coaching soccer for the kids at Talhado Montessori. A huge thank you to Keycollege for organising this event, emphasising social justice, early childhood development, and food security. Later in the day, our coaches and players teamed up to pick up 67 pieces of rubbish and litter around Sea Vista, helping to keep our community clean and beautiful.
